It's sad, but it happens. I live down the street from a guy (known to me
through others) that owns a 68 GTO. Black, all the trimmings. Bought the
car NEW, had it ALL his life, all stock. Year before last some kids from
the school went thru town and keyed a bunch of cars. All the cars they hit
belonged to teachers with one exception - the GTO. He had parked it for
YEARS in an open car port and it had never been hassled. After he had it
painted, the car port got brick side walls and a steel overhead door. I
see the car once a year now at the local car show. If I ever find my
grandson did something like that, me and his dad would take turns beating
him with a stick. But, then, kids do really stupid stuff. I know - I was
one. Still am, kinda...
