I may have an answer for this issue. You can set up a free e-mail
account at usa.net and by using the forwarding feature, have
mail from the Mustang Listserver forwarded to your SMTP acount. The mai
goes from the Listserver to the usa.net accouint and then to the SMTP
account. The SMTP account sees the incoming mail as regular internet
mail from the usa.net account and not as news server stuff. Of course
this requires minimum one time internet access to set up the e-mail
account and the fowarding. If you truly don't have internet access from
anywhere perhaps a friend can set your usa.net account up. Some
librarys also have PS'c with internet access for public use.

You may note that this is coming from a Hotmail account which is another
free e-mail service. I use both usa.net and Hotmail. Usa.net does any
forwarding I need while Hotmail is my promary e-mail accout, primarily
due to its better interface.

Hope this helps.
Brian
