Hello all

I have a quick question. Has anyone put a performer rpm intake, and an
Edelbrock carb on a 289 in a 65 mustang, with a stock, not Shelby, hood?
I am looking to see find out if there is any clearance problems.

that's my exact setup (carter = edelbrock), and I have a large open
filter...no problems ( I'm assuming that '65 and '66 are the same
clearance-wise).

--hope this helps

I have never thought of that...it's quite strange as I'm in the
process of getting the Edelbrock performer 2121 manifold which I
have been assured by Summit will fit with my Holley (also from
Summit). I believe the deck height is the same as the stock
manifold so it should be a straight swap..

All the best. Dave
