Patrick,

Can you tell me what "boiling it out" means? If its on the Holley web site,
I missed it.

Ive heard it from several sources but never seen anywhere a) how it do it,
b) why you should/what it achieves ....other than there seems to be a
general consensus that its necessary.

Ive had ongoing problems with the Holly on my car, and after correction of a
number of problems its much still better, but still not completely
happy...it hasn't been "boiled out".

Grateful for any insights

Cheers

Wal Marshall

Wal,

Its a chemical process, sometimes called a "cold boil". You soak the carb in
it overnight usually,
and it helps to dissolve the deposits that build up. You can usually get the
solution from a good auto parts store. I am sure others on the list can give
a better explanation. I just know it works.

Good Luck,

Patrick

Patrick is right. It is a soak that eats out all of the gunk/goo/funk that
is in your carb. I had a 4100 that had set for almost a year with stale gas
in it and this cleaned it right out.

It's kind of frightening to see what comes off of the carb!
