I have recently installed a Holley Blue electric fuel pump on my 68
GT-500. I have the fuel pressure regulator mounted by the carb. The
prblem I have is the fuel pump, which puts out 14 PSI, is vibrating
(pulsing) the fuel line. The fuel pump itself does not seem to be
vibrating much, only the fuel line.
I would appreciate any advice, other than taking it off, on how to
reduce the fuel line pulsing. I have not contacted Holley and I have a
couple of ideas. One is securing the fuel line more and use more rubber
fuel line as an isolator between the pump and the fuel line.
Thanks,
Bill

One more suggestion...
Go to the local junkyard and try to find a Nissan 280ZX or 200SX with a frame
mounted pump. In line with the pump is a "damper" which helps tame the fuel
pump pulses. In the Nissan it was designed to dampen the injector pulses,
but should perform the same for the fuel pump. I believe Audi's had a
similar device in line with the pump, although I'm not sure of the specific
model.
good luck.
