Well I finally bought the bullet and bought is no mistype. I purchased a
Tremec TKO to convert my '67 C4 into a manual.

Here is my current situation: 289 with a C4

Here is what I have done so far: Installed clutch pedal in carrier and
punched out the clutch hole detent in the firewall.

Here is what I bought: Tremec TKO, Crossmember, Pro 5.0 shifter, z-bar
linkage, Scattershield (for the one day hot 351W), billet flywheel (for the
same 351W, but will have to use for now), McCleod Dual Friction clutch,
early lever pivot bracket, early lever, etc..

Now I consider myself a pretty resourceful guy, but am not to proud to take
advice. Any life learned lessons out there I should look out for? My main
concerns are regarding the springs on the clutch linkage. I have the spring
for the pedal. I assume the spring assemblies are there to keep a neutral
pull on the release lever. What other springs will I need? Also, has anybody
had problems with the push rod coming out of the release lever detent under
frame flex? I plan on completing this swap in less than one weekend so we'll
see how it goes. Any advice would be great.
