Hi,

I have a '69 Mustang with a '70 351c and C4 automatic. I am restoring
this car (again) and this is the first of my questions:

I want to know how hard is it to put a 4 speed Toploader in instead of
my C4 auto. Can someone tell me _Exactly_ what I need and what
modifications I have to do to do this. BTW, I have a center console
with automatic shifter.

Every nut and bolt will be difficlut but here goes (everyone else fill
in the spots I leave out please)

1. Correct trans and linkage (for a Mustang)
2. Equalizer bar
3. Frame and engine side mount for above
4. Both upper and lower arms (for the bar
5. The correct pedal assy for a manual and what ever type of brakes you
have
6. Bell housing (different)
7. Pressure plate, clutch, and flywheel
8. Throwout bearing, throw-out arm, arm seal,
9. Drive line, and front yoke (different)
10. Change the insert in your console to a manual one
11. Trans mount
12. Speedometer cable (different)

That should get most of it.
