The time has come to sell my car. It is with heavy heart, but I don't drive
it enough and am actually 2000 miles away during the summer show and
driving season. I would like it to go to an enthusist but even if a flipper
gets it, ultimately it will end up in the hands of someone who will treat
it like I did.

The car is a good solid #2 driver. It was redone in 83/84 before I bought
the car but in research for the buyer here is some of what I have learned.
The drivetrain is orginal, engine, trans, rear end. There have been new
floor boards and frame rails (NOS) installed, 2 used doors, new aftermarket
fender on the driver's side and an NOS on the passenger side. NOS front
fenders. Engine was freshened up in 84, new gaskets, pistons and rings,
bearings, timing chain. The front suspension was redone in 88 and there are
14,000 miles on it, the car has a total of 102K miles. I put a new top on
it in 94. The split glass window has now separated so it will have to be
replaced. All the other glass is good. The drivers seat has a ripped seam
and a small hole where I sat down with a screw driver in my pocket. I have
receipts for all the work done in 83-85 by the previous owner as well as
all the work done by myself.

>From 10' away the average person thinks "oh wow, look at that beauty." Up
close the minor flaws can be seen - chips etc in the paint.

It runs very well and has the correct Shelby carb and intake. I put a
Centre Force clutch in it when I couldn't get the clutch return spring back
on. (Had to remove the freshly installed clutch when the Centre Force was
put in) I have installed some new stuff in it and there is a couple of
boxes of odds and ends (new repro, NOS and used) that go with the car.
Everything works on the car but the clock.

I would like it to go to an enthusist, but I am selling it to buy some
property, so I guess I can not be picky as it has to go. Enthusist, car
flipper, whoever comes up with 110K US gets it. I would like to stay away
from the Evil Bay scene, but thats the next step.

I have pictures of the car, sides, interior, engine, underneath etc and
also a video of it starting and idling. I think to keep the tire kickers
away I am going to ask for $10.00 for the 2 disk set (pictures and video)
Money refundable if the car is purchased. I can email the pictures for free
but I think the video is too big a file.

I don't have a Marti report and it is in the registry as an unknown. I did
send them the info when I got the car in '88 but it never did get placed in
the lastest edition. I am the 3rd owner.

I am willing to pay a $500 bird dog fee to anyone who puts me in touch with
a buyer. So, I guess that in actuality reduces the price by $500 if someone
from here buys it.
