Just looked at a 67 GTA hardtop that is pretty optioned out, but I am
having my doubts about its originality. For 1967, what can I look for
that will help me determine if this is truly a GT? It has the fog
lights, with the switch located under the dash and to the right of the
steering wheel. It is an A code 289 with an automatic, but the
originality of the transmission is in question. It has the instrument
cluster w/ tach and the interior is the deluxe w/ both consoles and the
decor group. Any of these options could have been ordered separately,
so what else is there to look for that will help decide if it is real?

Thanks,

Look for a buc tag or ask the owner if he has a buildsheet. If you can
get either, they should confirm if it's real.--

I'm always looking for '67-8 Shelby and Mustang fastback specific
parts.
Also 428 CJ specific parts, let me know what you have.
