Granada brake swap - Power Booster question

Hello all,
There's a lot of great info available about the Granada/Monarch front disc brake swap option. This list has been a great help in that area! I'm installing a Versailles 9" rear w/disc brakes so I'll have disc brakes at all 4 wheels.

I've reviewed the archive, but can't find the answer to the following question:

What is the difference between the Granada power booster for disc up front/drums in rear and the Granada power booster for disc up front AND in the rear?

I plan to use the Granada booster. Local parts stores list the seperate boosters, but no one knows what the difference is. Do 4 wheel disc brakes require different pressure than 2 wheel disc setups? I realize a proportioning valve should be used, but how does that affect what booster is used? Any brake system experts out there?

Finally, anyone want to sell me a power brake pedal assy (auto tranny) for a '67 coupe?

I have the pedal you need as well as the brake hanger assy. (the steel carrier that goes from firewall to dash). I am in So. Cal. but will ship it anywhere (as long as you cover it). It is out of my '67. Contact me off list if you want it.

The difference between the boosters is that the 4 wheel disc cars used a
hydro-boost which runs off of the power steering rather than vacuum. I
used the granada booster from the 2 wheel disc setup. It works great.

Does it give more power? use less space?

It shouldn't be hard to adapt, just plumb it in with your power steering
system. The one on my Lincoln parts car was not very big around, but it
stuck out from the firewall more than a vacuum booster. It may give more
power. I think my pedal pushes a little to easy and I used the granada
vacuum booster.

I adapted the hydro boost from a '79 Versailles donor car onto my '69
Mustang. It is a tight fit, but works. There are other problems you will
encounter with this set-up. You will need to run the Lincoln power steering
pump for the extra connection. The hydraulic fittings from the pump are
different than the Mustang, so then you have to adapt the Lincoln power
steering control valve to match the hydraulic lines. There are probably
other things I chose to forget, but it is do-able.
