I running almost the same set up (600cfm Holley) with headers and
dual exhaust and will be replacing the mufflers (Summits own two
chambers) and on a long run, I get about 22mpg, beleive it or not
and round town it's about 18mpg, mind you my foot is so light which
must have a lot to do with it. When the weather gets a bit warmer I
will tune it and add an echoflow to it which should get another
extra 2 mpg (guaranteed) and with he price of gas it will pay for
itself in no time.
All the best.

Gas mileage was discussed some time ago in a long thread, but this new
information bears looking into. How on earth are you getting 22 mpg on this
setup? I get about 12-13 mpg driving largely on freeways but usually under
rush-hour congestion here in Pheonix, AZ (a good deal of slow and go).
Please provide more details:
Component: My car: Your car:
Engine: 289 automatic
Transmission: C4 3-spd
Carburetor: Holley 600 cfm
Model 4160 4 barrel
vacuum secondaries
Intake: std, with "RV" cam
Exhaust: standard 289 w/
dual exhaust pipes
Other details:

I drive the San Diego freeways and average around 18MPG, and on road
trips I average 21MPG. My setup seems similar to yours.

What is an echoflow? Maybe it should be ecoflow (as in ecological?).
Either way I don't know what it is... Honestly, I'm sceptical (but
I'm a cynic about everything) but I'm also open minded... tell us more.

First off I'm not selling this at all. I have quite a few inquirys
so what I will do is get my friend to scan all the info that comes
with the Echoflow and I will post it to the group. Obviously if
quite a few people are interested I will contact the supplier and
take it from there...You deal direct with him.
Hope this helps.
All the best. Dave
