My '99 Mountaineer had that recall repair too, but I have had no problems with it.? I think if you take it to the dealer, they will chk your VIN and fix it for free.? It doesn't take long at all

If it's the same as my f150 , the switch in the master cyl is part of?
the problem. They replaced the switch and added a short wire harness?
to it. I don't think there is a fuse in mine. My cruise control had?
stopped working and the switch had a burnt smell.

I would consider the SW green line. They would look period correct,?
and the quality of SW gauges has greatly improved in recent years.

I have a SW voltmeter in my GT and I really like it.? That's why I went with
it--it is a good gauge and it looks period correct.

?
I?m looking forward to some of that Tennessee heat!???
Lately it?s been in the UPPER 90?s daily here? in Tampa with nearly 100
percent humidity!
I?m drenched with sweat just walking to the car in my driveway in the
morning before work.
We?re heading to Gatlinburg next month and really looking forward to some of
your cool Tennessee mountain air.
On the Mustang front?the 65 ragtop is running great, nothing new to post
about.?
My son?s 66 coupe is still in the body shop & hopefully will be coming out
in a few more weeks.?
It?s been nearly a year since his accident and we sure would like to have
his car in running condition again!
Lance.
