Ok it's just about show season, I start to check the car out for it's first
show at Pensacola Fl. I'm under the car and find the Transmission mount
saturated with xmission fluid from the leaky shift seal. I drops the pan
replace the seal and replace the xmission mount. Now the fan is hitting the
Shroud and there isn't any more vertical adjustment. (It;s hitting at the
bottom). There is about 1 inch of opening at the top. Does anyone have have
any ideas or had this problem? Is there a differece between a 67 and 68 mount
(My car is an early 68, 289, C4 car) My Radiator is being held in with the
cross over brace not bot\lted to the radiator support. I tryed to move the
radiator but it's all the way down. I can't take the shroud off and woller
out the holes since the bottom radiator fitting is keeping it (the shroud)
from going an lower. I'm open for suggestions.

If you installed a new trans. mount, that might have raised the back of
engine. If the engine mounts are bad, then the front of the engine is
hanging lower than the back and causing the fan to hit the bottom of the
shroud.
