Bill:

That's a great idea. In fact, there's a similar thing being
organized on the Mustang II e-mail list regarding the Carlisle show.
They're arranging pre-show meeting places, lodging, even voting on a
single t-shirt design so they'll all recognize each other. I don't
see why a "Mustangs of the Internet" section could not be put
together. The Mustang II guys even have a couple of list members
near the show that offered to put up a bulletin board with photos of
other list members' cars if they could not make the drive. Sort of
experiencing the car show vicariously through the list!
