Does anyone know if there are Clutch eq bar mounting brackets (for a '66
mustang in this case) for late model 5.0L blocks? The early blocks have
the tapped hole already cast into it while late model blocks lost this.
Also does anyone know what year they stopped casting that boss into the
302 blocks (my guess would be ~78-80)?
Thanks,
Russ

Russ,
We make the brackets here at our facility as we need them. We would be
happy to make one for you if you would like but we need to know a couple
of fact:
What bell housing you are using? (lakewood or stock)
and the the thickness of the flange from where the lower bolts attatch
the housing to the block (from the top of the flange surface to the the
edge of the bell housing)
We generally sale these for $95 ready to install

California Pony cars sell this brack for $60. I have a non stock
bellhousing in my 67 (w/ 11 inch clutch). I had to modify the bracket to
clear the bellhousing.
