I knew this was the next question...

I usually use the old type 50 cent testor paint bottles...They have been
making the same colors for over 40 years, I swear. , (although I think they
go for like a $1.10 each today!, There's inflation for ya..), The Testor
numbers are: 1103 Red, 1145 White, and 1111 Dark Blue.. That's if you hand
paint it with a brush. Use light coats when brush painting any area when
doing emblems, gas cap, or horn rings..
Let dry for about 45min to an hour, they use grade 0000 super fine steelwool,
or white #7 compound to get rid of any excess paint. You will love the
results.. For the Absolute Purist, Use the Spray Testors colors, go with
the Metalflake Red,Blue instead of the standard red and dark Blue spray, use
the standard colors to spray white and black. It will look absoultely
factory.. guaranteed smiling smiley
