'Sorry to have had a momentary brain fart on the terminology stuff.
As to assisting with the trouble shooting, so far, I would have suggested
almost everything that has been posted. A few items I had not even thought
of...
I too have a charging problem. . . .Battery holds a charge, (when charged)
motor starts fine, idiot lights go off as if charge is happening, battery
discharges very slowly - seems to take a few drives with multiple starts to
drain the battery to the point of no longer starting with the starter.
Starts and runs with a push though - My wife and I found this out on Sunday.
The BIG difference here is that I'm talking about a motorcycle and this
specific problem started after I took it in for my 17K mile maintenance.
Looks like it will be going back to the shop for their intervention (not
mine).
