door speaker sizes

Does anyone know the original door speaker sizes for 66's? A couple of the
shops are selling 4x6's, but I think 4x8's are correct. I have speaker
grills that sure seem to want something larger than the 4x6's I've seen.

Original units were only 3.5" x 7.4"...sound like yours?

Remember to make or install a rain sheild on each speaker (like the
factory) or the new speakers will not last long.
