First of all I would like to thank everyone for the help and advice so far. There has been invaluable information on this list.

So I am in the mood to put a new dist. into my '67 mustang with a 289, points need replacing. Anybody had any luck with the MSD distributors and ignition modules. I think I have finally decided to keep a 289 based motor in this car (was planning on a 427w stroker, but I like the idea of keeping the original class engine in it. 400hp from a 347 stroker seems fine enough for me) so I can make certain upgrades and keep the investment. By the way, I know very little of distributors and such, so even the most basic info will help.

WANTED: A 9" housing for a '67 mustang. 54" plate to plate. Must be in the southern california area. Complete assemblies o.k. if you are willing to let them go for cheap. Info on a good parts yard would be great as well. E-mail me direct.
