I'm not sure what they're called but I'm looking for the sheet metal
things that hold the front disk brake calipers to the spindles (69/70).
I've checked several catalogs and can't find them. Has anyone seen a
source for these either Ford or repro? Thanks.

Have you tried your local auto parts store? You'd be suprised what they can
get.

If you can't find them new, you can try Doc's Mustang 606-276-5880.
I've purchased used parts from him with alot of success. He has a good
selection
of parts cars, and is very helpfull. He usually charges $15 for common
parts, to pay the guy who strips the parts off, and takes returns if not
satisfied.

I got a caliper attachment kit for my 70. These came with it, also the boots
and other things. Everyone sells them. I think I got mine from n p d. Good
luck.
