I have been watching this list since I purchased my first mustang. A '67 fastback, o.k. I owned a '96 GT for a year but I don't really think that counts. Although I would love to do a full restoration I have neither the means $$$ nor the patience. I have stripped all the suspension off and am rebuilding the car for some fun. This includes a front disc brake swap.
My question is this: Are the brake lines for disc brakes larger than the lines for drum fronts. If so what size lines? I am doing the Granada swap and this is my last hurdle. There was sludge at the bottom of the old MC reservoirs so I am going to replace the lines anyhow.
Also I have the following parts for sale if anyone is interested:
Original front spindles /drum set up.
MC (casing only) is also available (sorry, piston was cracked so I robbed the push rod).
Upper control arms. One is three rivet ball joint, one is four bolt ball joint (replacement)
Lower control arms (1-7/16" bushing) service replacements.
Two (2) brake pedal hangers.
One (1) power brake pedal.
One (1) brake pedal shaft (for automatic equipped cars)
Original Springs (hey it was worth a try)
Original Hubcaps C+/B- shape
Los Angeles / Orange County / San Diego Area (I am a project manager and I have projects in all these areas)
And I am having a hard time finding the following:
The console insert for manual transmissions.

On my '70 I found that Granda disc hoses will fit drum lines but you your
hose does an S instead of a U...
Then I replaced all of my lines with Mustang Disc lines and had to use an
adapter to fit the Granada hoses to Mustang drum lines.
This worked for me because I had all of the '70 disc brake parts.
Does anyone know the rotor size on the stock '70 disc's?
I was thiking about putting thos eon, but if they are the same or smaller
than my Granada rotor nevermind...
