Here is another very good, informational address:
geocities.com/smogrfg/
I am also including more information from Len Trimlett who looks to
be spearheading some of this:
I have added you to the list. The nucleus of the strategy is as follows:
1. The California Inspection and Maintenance Committee
(imreview.ca.gov)
has a list of recommendations for Smog Check II including revoking SB42
and making
those vehicles eligible for scrappage. Read those recommendations.
2. The recommendations must be turned into legislative bills. The
Legislative Database
(assembly.ca.gov -- Select Legislation) is a keyword searchable
database
which also has an index of bills during the year. When the bills which
implement the
recommendations appear we will find them either in the Index or by keyword
search.
3. Assuming you check the front of your phone book for your Legislator,
you may find
contact information for your Assembly Member at
assembly.ca.gov, your
senator at sen.ca.gov and Governor Davis at
governor.ca.gov.
4. The next meeting of the California Inspection and Maintenance Review
Committee is
January 18, 2001. We expect bills to appear after that.
5. When I see those I will ask people to email, fax, phone and write
letters to their
legislators and the Governor.
6. I will begin email soon.
Len Trimlett -- (email redacted)
Now, if you want to get on Lens list for further information, simply e-mail
him and
let him know,
Chuck

Hi
I was wondering if someone knew, offhand, the parts needed to add
powersteering to a 66 coupe. And what cars I could find them on. Also, if
someone knew of a book or website that did a good job of explaining the
anatomy, in both structure and engine, of the Mustang. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Katee
