Does anyone have an instructions sheet for rebuilding a Carter "X"
fuel pump? I have a kit that I bought from SEMO, but it didn't
come with instructions. It appears to be pretty self-explanatory,
but I'm having some trouble with some internal screws that appear
to have been installed by King Kong and I don't see an obvious way
to remove the internal plunger.

Scott,

I used my '69 Shop Manual to help disassemble and reassemble my fuel pump.
I seem to remember shearing an internal screw and having to drill it out
and retap it. I'll fax you a copy if you like.
