Hi everyone,

First, I'd just like to say I dig the website- thanks to all who have
made it possible.

Second, I unchecked a box in Navigator that said "By default,
automatically send HTML messages. Hopefully this has corrected all of
the crap that seems to accompany my messages.

OK- now the heart of the matter- I'm replacing my carpeting. Upon
removing the old underlayment, I discovered LOTS of gunk. I scraped it
off, along with most of the sealant for the floor pan welds. Is there
any special kind of caulk that needs to be put there, or is it a pretty
typical product?

Second question: what is the tried and true method for locating the
holes in the new carpet where things are mounted (console, sill plates,
etc.)?

Thank you all for your expertise and helpfulness- this list is the most
valuable tool in my box.
