What brand/material of car covers do you use? I need a "super duper" car
cover
for my '64.5. For now it's parked under a carport and can get dusty and wet
if
the wind is blowing. Also the wife's cats may decide to sleep on it... don't
get me started, I don't like the damn critters any but she gets awful upset
when I say I'm gonna use 'em for target practice!

I have a Wolf car cover for my 66. It lets some dust through, but is
pretty good. No antennae hole, though. had to make one. Grrrr.
Still, breaths pretty well and not trapping humidity is a plus in
louisiana.

Try Griot's Garage--they have a slew of covers. www.griotsgarage.com
or get a catalog.

Remember--target practice AFTER they get off the car.

That's what I have on mine now. I'm gonna use it on the wife's '66 and try
to find something a little better. We have a gravel driveway that contributes
to LOTS of dust in the air...

I get the 100% waterproof breathable car cover found on ebay. I have used
many of them. They
only last about three years out in the Michigan weather so if there is a
more durable one I would
be interested as well.

I got a car cover for the same reasons. Dust, Cats and
wind during rain storms.

I got a 4 layer one from Virginia Classic Mustang.
It's not really heavy but good enough to keep the
dust and water out. Had no problems at all with cats
scratching the car.

I'm pretty happy with the cover, protects well and is
easy to put on and take off. Now I can work on other
projects instead of washing the car!
