I believe what John was referring to when he objected to advertising on the
list was an advertisement for LONG DISTANCE SERVICE, not cars or parts.
Right, John?
I hope this list doesn't get so petty that we can't even try to sell parts
or cars. Some stuff is hard to find and I'm grateful when something comes
along that I may need. Let's please not get like vette owners!

Yes Sharon, you're right. But realize I sent that message to you on
the Shelby Mustang list, which is managed by listbot.com. The classic-
mustang list is not a listbot managed list, so it really doesn't apply
here; you just emailed the wrong forum.
Listbot has begun adding a 5-10 line advertisement to the beginning of
each message, and they have been long distance service noise. That's
what I was objecting to. What's next ... mortgage rates, credit cards,
baby food?

We are supposed to advertise our own cars, parts, etc., as well as help
each other out. I probably won't mind a plug for a Mustang-related
vendor, if tastefully done.
