I'm pretty sure Ken meant "unscrupulous"......
Because a scrupulous dealer who would attempt such would
no longer be...scrupulous.
...boy say that word 5 times and it sounds *wierd*
[from "Corpus, Ken"]
>JUST A WORD OF CAUTION:

>Buying a car out of the south or west from places like California or North
>Carolina or Georgia or Texas does not guarantee that the car is not from the
>north. I know several scrupulous car dealers in the southern and western
>states that buy northern cars for cheap prices, and then attempt to resell
>them as "southern beauties".

Happily, the chances of finding a rust-free car in the south is
higher than in the north, so a careful look is well worth it.
I was surprised at the state my '68 was in when I bought it.
