I always considered them to be 15" But never looked that close.
As for the centers, they were almost always painted, since
magnesium wheels start turning ugly while you watch.....
We spend hours polishing our TA "mag" wheels. Someday I'm
gonna paint the whole dang wheel.....

Yeah, Walter, The Magnesium Torq-D-Thrusts rims remind me of those old 1960's
1/24 scale and 1/32 scale COX slot cars that I collect, The old COX slot car
chassis are made of Magnesium, and they get a Whitish colored grit that forms
all over the magnesium...Ugly! The only thing to do is to clean it off with
steel wool, and clear coat over the magnesium!
