Maybe I'm missing something, but the point is that your
chambers should have a "nominal" volume of 58.6. That
means they will vary somewhat, from a minimum of 57.2cc
to a maximum of 60cc.

Now I'm lost...what do you mean by that line about 58cc?
Are you replacing 1969 heads with 1970 heads? Then all
you need do is use 1970-type pistons - which you should
be, anyway. Resulting compression is around 10.5:1 with
the stock gaskets.
