I am thinking about swapping a manual transmission in to my '70 302 c4
equipped coupe. Can anyone offer their experience? Suggest suitable
transmissions (5 or 6 speed please)? Point out some good sites?

Thanks!

Mikey

Mikey,

I did that swap (to a toploader 4-speed) about a year ago on my '66 289
Mustang. I've got all the parts that I needed listed on my website.
It is for a '66 and not a '70, but you'll at least get an idea. You
might also look on the speedometer calculator on my page as well, as
you'll have to deal with that when you do the swap too.
