For those of you still with questions about the auto tranny shift, and
questionable number of drive gears in the early cars, please refer to a
copy of the owners manual. In there is a complete description on how to
properly use the drive selector. The first time I drove my C4, I was
confused as well, and through I only had 2 working gears.
