As some of you know, I'm converting to a 9" rear end for strength reasons
(mostly)and I'll be selling my original 8" 2.79 gear with the '68 mustang
housing when I do.

It is only the housing and center section, so you'd need to add 28 spline
axles (I see them in the classifieds for $35 occasionally) and brakes. It
is currently on my car and I drive it every day, so I can assure you it
works fine.

I'll start pricing at $90 for both, or I can separate them, $40 for the 8"
center section and $50 for the housing. If interested please email me

I also have a complete set of V8 front drum brakes (need rebuilding) for
sale, $40 (with spindles).
