Since they're talking about creating a "RestoMod" production line which
will involve buying up used Mustang bodies and gutting them to create a
"1990's" version of the early cars. Not really the first time this has
been tried, certainly. All it will really do is further reduce the supply
of rebuildable/unrestored originals and create a bunch of (probably
overpriced) restomods for folks too lazy to build their own...
If they were restoring to *original* standards, or manufacturing entirely
*new* Mustang replicas, I might feel differently.

Nissan is/has been officially doing refurbished 240z's to sell through their
dealerships with full warranty. Don't know how well the program is doing. So
there is precedent for the idea.
