Hey Guys,
Question here.
I have a 69 Mach 1, 351 W 4 bbl, with a FMX auto. Car appears to be
original.
Some people tell me it is a 3spd auto. When I drive it, it goes through
3 gears. Other's tell me maybe it has Tran's problems and never shifts
into 4th gear.
Any feed back is appreciated.

If you remove the core, it also gives you the access to "rebuild" the
heater box with all new foam and make sure all the hinges operate
smoothly. I did this on my Son's '66 and now all the heater controls
have a nice soft feel to the closing and opening, including the air vent
on the passenger side.

The FMX is a three speed auto. If it's shifting more than twice, it's likely
got a problem.
