Does anyone know where i can source the door glass rear edge molding (RH)
which holds the weatherstrip (that only 69/70 fastbacks put on the door
glass as opposed to the seal being on the forward edge of the quarter window
like all the others)?
I purchased new rubber & discovered that my RH molding is not a Mustang
piece--it's about 2 inches too long.

Mark,
It sounds like your moulding is from a '69 coupe. You should be able to cut
it down to fit by comparing to the other side. Another possibility, is to
look inside the door itself. I have found many inside the doors of parts cars.
Good Luck,
Mark

Mark,
In fact I did find this one down inside the door. It had been previously
replaced, and with the wrong piece. I don't know if it's a Mustang coupe
trim or not, but the channel is way too small to hold the new weatherstrip I
just bought.
Would you like to part with any of your found pieces? :-)
