Hi all, new to the list here,
My brake pedal travels all the way to the floor if I push hard enough. I
have replaced the master cylinder and all four brake cylinders (4w drum
brakes), flushed and bled the lines with clean fluid, and adjusted the shoes
according to Haynes manual procedure. Problem not fixed. What to do next?
Thanks! Mike.

If you have changed all bad parts with known good parts then all you
have left is adjustments and bleeding. With drum brakes a little can
go a long way. tighten up your adjustment on all wheels a few clicks
and see if it improves it. This will only take you about ten minutes
to do, and if it helps keep going until your stopping great and your
pedal works the way you want.
Now, you didn't mention if you had power brakes or not. With power
brakes the rod behind the master in the booster is adjustable, this
may need to be tweaked.
