The window in my wifes 68 CS stopped rolling up the other day. It will pull
or push but the handle just clicks when turned. My neighbor has a 65 and told
me it would do no good messing with it and it would have to be replaced after
I had the door half apart of course. I was wondering...ARE there any easy
tricks to getting the regulator out? My Hayes manual realy bites! Any ideas
will be much apreciated. Doing a car show in Castroville this weekend...the
ARTICHOKE Festival of all things. I guess this year was the aniversary of
Marylin Monroe being their first queen way back she was just Norma Jean.
Registration is around $30 and starts about 9:00am...may be fun. There is a
big car show up in Merced this weekend though so the turnout may not be as
big as it could be. I'll have both my 67 and 68 Ponies and my 57 Bird out to
show off this weekend.
Will get around to digging out that book this weekend at the show and
probably scanning some stuff and answering all the questions I got somtime
before Monday guys smiling smiley

TIA

Mike Brewer

I can't help with the window, but where is Castroville? I saw something
about the Articoke Festival, but didn't know that it included a car show.
I'm in Sunnyvale on business and would love to come and see your cars.

Castroville is between Santa Cruz and Monterey on HWY 1 or off HWY101 just a
few miles.....a little ways before Salinas

No matter which way you go it's still a pain in the ass to get it adjusted
correctly. I have found that the repo regulators aren't worth messing with.
Not as strong and does't last. Try and find a good used one.
