I've been meaning to ask this and Walt's post helped.

I was removing the transverse muffler hangers from the
frame rails on my '66. On the left side, the fuel
line runs on top of this hanger. When I removed the hanger,
the fuel line droops down without any support.

Does the muffler hanger support the fuel line or do I need another
clamp?

I might need to remove the unused hangers when I get a *real*
dual exhaust installed.

Thanks,

rick
