Ok, I thought I saw everything. At my local supermarket today, I saw a beat
up 65 6cylinder mustang with snow tires. We don't have snow on the ground
yet, but we usually do by now, as I am just west of Toronto.

Anyone else drive their mustang in the snow?

Michel.

Lots of people used to drive them in the snow....that is how they got so
rusty. We have lots of people drive the new ones in winter here in northern
Mn.

I did 30 years ago. Back then my '65 2+2 was my only car.

<still digging out old email>

I had *studded *snow tires on the 66 when we lived in South Dakota.
Since this was a daily driver we needed the extra traction. It wasn't
until mid 80s did I retire it from daily use. This includes 6 years in
South Dakota, 4 years in Iowa and 6 more years in Minnesota. Not the
most car friendly states.

Anyone want to donate quarter panels, outer fender wells, front fenders,
... for an old beat up Mustang? I'll trade you some studded snow tires :-).
