I found that I could have a custom system for my Mach 1 made & installed locally (by a top-notch shop) for $5 more than it cost for a catalog system with me installing it.? More than worth it!? They even welded the connections, but also installed clamps to give it all the appearance of stock while having the advantage of being welded, and installed stock factory-style hangers.? You can't tell it's not stock unless you get right up on it to look.? It helped that the owner of the shop is a big Mustang guy!

May be Ford NOS, but I can buy the same stuff for a heckuva lot less than
nearly $1,000. I've used good-quality repro patch panels for years with
excellent results.
Still, hope you get what you want for it!

I found that I could have a custom system for my Mach 1 made & installed
locally (by a top-notch shop) for $5 more than it cost for a catalog system
with me installing it.? More than worth it!? They even welded the
connections, but also installed clamps to give it all the appearance of
stock while having the advantage of being welded, and installed stock
factory-style hangers.? You can't tell it's not stock unless you get right
up on it to look.? It helped that the owner of the shop is a big Mustang
guy!

excellent results.

Just a quick look online - I'm sure I can do better if I look at more than one
supplier.
IF I want to weld it all myself (and I do enjoy welding. I love the smell of
ozone in the morning.)
.
Front/Rear apron assembly: $ 99.95
Shock Tower Assembly: $114.95
Front frame rail: $159.95
======
$374.85 for BRAND NEW parts.
If I DON'T want to weld I can get the whole thing already assembled for $579.95
Just my 2cents, but I'd pass on a $1000 rusty NOS assembly unless I had a
historically significant car.

Just a quick look online - I'm sure I can do better if I look at more than one
supplier.
IF I want to weld it all myself (and I do enjoy welding. I love the smell of
ozone in the morning.)
.
Front/Rear apron assembly: $ 99.95
Shock Tower Assembly: $114.95
Front frame rail: $159.95
======
$374.85 for BRAND NEW parts.

Does it bolt in at this point or do you need to still weld it at the
radiator support/floor pan?
Where have you found the whole thing, assembled?

Brandon,
CJ's is one place I saw that entire assembly pre-assembled for $579.95 - shock
towers, frame rail & all! Part #'s M3630L & M3630R for the left & right.
Just add a rad support and firewall and you have an entire engine bay!
And yes, you would have to weld at the radiator support/floor pan. But that's
pretty easy.
My son & I just did pretty much that on his car this past weekend. It took all
of 15 minutes to weld at the rad support and if we were doing the rest it
probably would have added no more than a couple of hours to fit & weld the rest.
Lance.
