Hello,
My first post - hopefully I am doing this right !
I have a 69 Mustang, 351W, FMX auto - with an Edelbrock Performer RPM
intake, and 1406 carb. My question is - does anyone have this combo (or
similar), and if so could you send me a picture of how you did your throttle
cable bracket ? I have the Edelbrock 1483 and 1491 bracket - the 1483 is on
no problem but I am at a loss as to how to put the 1491 on. My original set
up was the 351W, stock intake, and 2v carb - the original throttle cable
bracket sat across the rear of the carb and mounted to it's two rear-most
studs.
Any help would be appreciated !
Thanks,
Dave

Dave,
I have the same setup except the standard Performer intake. I use a stock
bracket mounted to the intake bosses behind the carb. This pic might
provide you with the details you need:

If you need more specific shots, let me know.

H Mark,
Thanks very much - if you have a moment would you be able to take a picture
of yours that is like the attached ? I took this pic with the air cleaner
off, at the rear/side of the carb where the throttle cable bracket is
located.
This is my current set-up - hacked up factory bracket. It works, but the
accelerator pedal is too high.
thanks again,
Dave
