The 289~351W line is not really known for core shift, but they were still
learning the "thinwall" casting operations, so a sonic check of the bores
would probably be worth the cost. If I remember, less than .160~.180 is
"thin" and may contribute to increased colling requirements.

Kevin, .040" over is not a problem for a 351w. They can just as easily
go to .060" but always do the minimum required. The 351w blocks are
thicker than the thinwall 351c, which has a limit of about .040". Also,
double check to make sure that it's not already been overbored already
as many older blocks have been.
