Has anyone with a 71-73 tried to put FlowMaster 30 or 50 series under their car?
The length of the area for the dual muffler is very "short"!

I have Dynomax that drone too much for me (and the wife).
They measure (appoximately): Overall length 19", body length 14", width 10" and height 4.75.

The flowmaster 40 series has a comparable measureing muffler - however - I want quiet performance.
The flowmaster 30 and 50 series are:
OL 23", BL 19", W 10", H 4

The 30 series are quieter than the 40s and the 50s is quieter than the 30s - I WANT "QUIET" PERFORMANCE!

Flow master informed me that the 50 series does not reduce flow (over the 40 or 30 series) only the sound!

Has anyone with a 1971-1973 put this large a muffler under their car ?????
HOw did you do it and what problems have you run into?

Thank you for your assistance on this

Mine are just the opposite - small as can be!

I'd be happy to send audio of what they sound like, too. I have a stock 302/2v
with dual stainless the whole way back from the factory headers.
