I hit a scrap yard looking for a wheel, and the
problem I came across is that they didn't really know
what wheels came off which car or had what bolt
patterns, so on a whim I stopped into one of these
bling bling rim places near my house, and they
actually had a ton of old 15x7 steel wheels, so they
just kept trying different ones on until they found
one that fit, and then came up with a used tire the
same size as my others.

It was great service, but the thing that gets me is
that I know they got those wheels for free when they
blinged out somebody's car with chrome spinners, and I
know they got that tire for free when they sold
somebody else new tires, how in the world did it end
up costing me $70?

Oh well, at least I'm back in business should I get
another flat tire.

I've thought about those places as a source of Ford Factory Mag wheels
for my '70 F250. Must be some guys who bought the high end package that
came with factory chome wheels, but they still wanted those huge rims.
