Hi All,
In the 1960's until ~1970 my father worked for Dupont as a chemist in their materials division. Whether it was DuPont directly or one of their customers, he comes home at some point with a roll of original Ford vinyl that had come off a production line and for some reason was not going to be used. I wish he were still alive to get more details but he passed about 3 years ago.
The roll is marked Ford Fabric. There is some water damage on the roll. I don't want to unroll it so I cannot vouch for the condition within the entire roll but the small swatch shown looks and feels beautiful - not brittle or damaged at all. color is a dark blue, more like that in the 71-73 Mustang but I cannot vouch for the exact color code.
Roll is stamped with MC 1613 and a 4-50-035.
I do not know what this is worth but would like to see it go to someone who wants to use it in a restoration project.
Message me here with contact info and we can discuss.
