i bought the chassis and what was left of the 2dr body in 1975 and worked on it the next 4 years while i commuted to college finaly i found a replacement body and had it on the road about 1980 in primer with pillow cases for seat covers.
the chassis sat out in the weather for many years so it needed to be fully dissasembled. there were only threads left on the bolts and fragments of the attached nuts.
it was the first car i paintd fully and i learned i should have used a slow dry thinner for flow out on the laquer.
i also learned how to pin stripe on this car (the secrete is to use talk on your guide fingers so they don't stick and wigle the line)
i bought the chassis from the grandson of the original owner and it had been a unmolested chassis except for the rust.
