I found this Grabber Blue 1971 Mustang "J" code 429 Cobra Jet-Ram Air Mach 1 in a chicken coop in upstate New York where it had been resting since 1980 with 33,000 miles on the speedo.

Further investigation found the Mach 1 to be totally #'s matching & 99% original - less the correct carburetor & a missing gas cap.

According to the 429CJ Registry, this Grabber Blue Mach 1 is only "1 of 2" known left to exist with a 4-speed & A/C.
And the only one with it's original 429CJ-RA engine.

Sold new at Gotham Ford INC 570 West 42nd Street, New York,
NY on June 18,1971

It's currently under-going a full blown OE restoration which hopefully will be completed by spring 2013.
